Grace Lee, People and Operations Manager

Grace Lee, People and Operations Manager

Grace Lee: Crafting Beauty in Restoration

Grace Lee, our esteemed People and Operations Manager, uniquely ties her background in makeup artistry to her role in restoration, illustrating how both fields require a keen eye for beauty and transformation. Grace’s path from the world of makeup to leading operations at PPCR underscores the value of seeing potential and beauty in restoration, treating each project as a masterpiece in the making.

“In both makeup and restoration, it’s about the transformation—taking something and making it beautiful again. My philosophy is to view our technicians as artists, each with their own toolkit, tailored for the job at hand. It’s this creative approach that has allowed us to turn restoration into an art form, one project at a time.” – Grace Lee

Caitlin Frisk, Project Coordinator

Caitlin Frisk: Defying Stereotypes with Passion

Caitlin Frisk, our dedicated Project Coordinator, ventured into the restoration industry searching for a meaningful career where she could make a difference. Caitlin’s story is a testament to overcoming initial doubts and stereotypes about women in traditionally male-dominated fields, highlighting her growth, confidence, and the unique perspective she brings to restoration.

“The initial hesitation I felt making my first call quickly dissipated as I realized the impact of my work. It’s not about fitting into a predefined role; it’s about the passion and commitment you bring. My message to women considering restoration is clear: your contribution is invaluable, and there’s a place for you here to thrive.” – Caitlin Frisk

Marlene Naicker, Project Admin

Marlene Naicker: Embracing Challenges with Resilience

Marlene Naicker, our versatile Project Administrator, exemplifies the potential for growth and the value of embracing new challenges. Her experience at PPCR showcases the company’s commitment to recognizing and nurturing talent, irrespective of gender, fostering a culture where hard work and dedication lead to opportunity and success.

“At PPCR, opportunities are boundless, not defined by gender but by your ambition and the quality of your work. The supportive atmosphere has enabled me to explore various roles, challenging myself and evolving professionally within this dynamic industry.” – Marlene Naicker

A Vision of Inclusivity: Insights from Tony Scott, Our CEO

Embracing the spirit of International Women’s Day, PPCR celebrates its commitment to inclusivity and diversity with the refined insights of our CEO, Tony Scott. His revamped perspective on DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) in the workplace underlines our philosophy that diversity is not just a policy but a vital part of our organizational culture.

“Embracing inclusivity isn’t about creating a DEI policy, it’s just good business. People shouldn’t need a policy to be diverse, it should be part of their organizational culture. When we teach our managers to hire, it’s to look for someone who will complement them and round out their team – we don’t want them looking for a lemming that will think exactly how they think. Really, diversity means to sometimes hire someone with a different gender, sexuality, or culture – as long as they don’t like the Oilers, we’re good (sorry Katie). I’m proud to work at a company that supports women like Grace, Caitlin, and Marlene – they add to our culture and make us better.” – Tony Scott

The journeys of Grace, Caitlin, and Marlene, paired with our CEO’s commitment to inclusivity, embody PPCR’s dedication to building a workplace where diversity, equity, and inclusion are not just celebrated but are seen as pillars of our collective success.

In conclusion, PPCR proudly honors International Women’s Day by reiterating our unwavering commitment to fostering an environment where everyone, regardless of gender, sexuality, culture or background, is empowered to contribute to our overarching mission of development, sustainability, community building, and restoration.
